“BOOM! BOOM! BOOM-BA-BOOM! BOOM!” The show starts with an impressive opening of pyro, before the lights are raised and several sections of the excited crowd are shown waving various signs. The focus then switches to the announce table where Michael Cole and JBL introduce and hype tonight’s show and the expected impact the likes of Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler and Brian Kendrick are likely to have. (74)
After last nights episode of CWC. Dolph and Kendrick have gotten themselves into some high pressure shit. They kick off the show tonight.
In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Dolph Ziggler defeated Brian Kendrick in 10:46 by pinfall with a Superkick. (79)
Kendrick went for sliced bread, but as he was two steps up the turnbuckle, Dolph shook him loose and hung Kendrick up. One devastating superkick to the back of the head later. And Kendrick was helpless. That means. Kendrick had better get some sleep. He’s got a lot of wrestling to prep for.
Jim Ross is backstage when he gets a knock on the door from Cesaro. He’s irate at the fact that HHH cost him his chance to be number one contender last week to Seth Rollins’ WWE Championship at the royal rumble, and demands to be given a fair opportunity at Rollins. Or even HHH. He’s the flaming Swiss Superman and he doesn’t take stick. JR says that HHH isn’t here tonight, as he took a mysterious phone call earlier today. Apparently HHH’s face went blank when he answered his phone, and left the building in an almost trance like state. Instead. Tonight Cesaro will team up with Seth Rollins tonight, in a tag team match that will see Seth Rollins and Cesaro against Royal rumble winner hopefulls Kevin Owens and John Morrison. (74)
Second round match in the CWC number one contender tournament.

Tag team champions Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are in the ring readying up for their match tonight! They’re in non-title action against American Alpha. Enzo and Cass are waiting for their opponents but they seem to be waiting an awful long time… Where could they be?
All of a sudden both men appear on the TitanTron, being brutally assaulted by…
THE BULLET CLUB, former tag team champions Anderson and Gallows, as well as their running pal AJ Styles. Jordan gets Magic Killer’d through some tables set up for snacks, while Gable dragged out to the parking lot. Gallows slings him onto one of car bonnets, Gable shatters the glass as he hits the windscreen. AJ Styles gets onto the top of the car as he pals set Gable up. Styles Clash! On the car roof! Gable is out of it. The lifeless carcass of Chad Gable is then carried off the car roof, and magic Killer’d onto the cold hard floor…..
Bullet Club…F.F.F.F.Foooor Life.
The Bullet clubs theme song hits as the men make their way to the ring Enzo and Cass ready for the assault. They stand strong but eventually the numbers game hits hard. Cass is put through the announcers table (you know, one of those times when they don’t take out the monitors. Brutal stuff). That leaves a lifeless Amore in the ring. Styles locks in the calf crusher on one leg, and Anderson does the same on the other leg while Gallows just pummels Amore’s head.
“This is absolutely disgusting” says Michael Cole. (Thank you) (52)
JR’s music hits and he demands the BC stop
“If you lay one more hand on anyone outside of a match tonight you three, you will be FIRED. AJ, last week you were told you had a match tonight, with this man, I hope he makes you pay for your actions.”
In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles in 11:22 when AJ Styles was disqualified when…..
The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes ran in and attacked Randy Orton. (74)
Rhodes… Cross Rhodes!!!!!!
THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IS HERE, IN WWE!!!! (75)
Tag team action up next ladies and gentleman, let’s settle down a bit.
In the bout, Primo and Epico defeated Lucha Dragons in 8:25 when Epico defeated Kalisto by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for leverage.
Kalisto carried the match in terms of in-ring performance (62)
The match is over, and Lucha Dragons are left down. Primo and Epico are celebrating, but then stop and see that their opponents are still on the ground. They attack, and beat both Kalisto and Sin Cara into the canvas. “This is the second tag team tonight to make a dominating statement in the division, but someone needs to stop this before we get another potentially serious injury” decrees Michael Cole (51)
Kalisto is being attacked by Primo and Epico in the ring. Seeing the assault, Rey Misterio Jr. comes running in and fights them both off, saving Kalisto from a serious beating. (55)
Roman Reigns is backstage where he is looking for Cesaro. He walks around the corner and finds him. He consoles the man on what he’s going through, but reminds him that the Nu Wyatt Family were the one’s who, for seemingly no reason, cost him is match against HHH at WWE Armageddon. He tries to get Cesaro to help join his fight against the family, to try and underpin what their intentions are, but Cesaro says that he already has a match to focus on tonight. (79)
Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and Erick Rowan make the Wyatt family entrance, enter the ring, and stand with Bray in the middle in his rocking chair, flanked by his two lieutenants.
“I have some news for you Roman. Dean here… He misses you man, he misses you oh so very much.. ahaha. Dean wants to see you again Roman. And Should you take up my offer. You can see him! In Two weeks at the royal rumble. Dean Ambrose will be entering. He will be waiting for you Roman. Waiting for you to arrive. Waiting to help you…..Fail. Waiting to watch you….FALL. Anyone but you Roman… Anyone… But you.
Out of the dark. There’s Roman Reigns!!!. He blasts Rowen immediately with a spear, and he gets up to kick Bray out of his chair before Dean can fully realise what’s going on. With the two original members of the Wyatts out of action, it’s just Dean and Roman in the ring staring off. The crowd are eating it up. We get Shield chants, and Roman is stood there ready to tackle his former brother. But after Bray gets up. Dean looks over his shoulder and opts to climb out of the ring. The crowd boo as Roman says that he’ll see his former brother at the Rumble. (85)
It’s time for the self proclaimed “favourite to win the royal rumble”, Sheamus, to make his way to the ring. He says “Fellas! Good Ol’ JR Jim Ross has just informed me that if I beat my two chumps of opponents tonight in a handicap match, I earn my spot in the royal rumble! Let’s do this then. Get your arses down here!”
In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn’t have much heat, Sheamus defeated Curtis Axel and Heath Slater in 7:27 when Sheamus defeated Heath Slater by pinfall with a Brogue Kick.
Sheamus carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. (69)
Sheamus is celebrating his victory wildly in the ring….. That is until….
IT’S BARON FUCKING CORBIN. And he doesn’t give a shit if Gazz Wood doesn’t like him. Because he’s been promised a push and Gazz can suck a falice.
He makes his way to the ring. Sheamus swings for the big man who ducks under, rebounds off the ropes and floors Sheamus with a clothesline. Sheamus gets up dazed and confused. END OF DAYS
“Ladies and gentleman of Tuesday night Smackdown, I hope you’ve enjoyed yourselves, because from tonight forward. Everyone on this brand is on notice. Get in this ring with me. And it will be YOUR..END…OF…DAYS” (61)
A video airs showing Tyler Breeze looking sexy taking selfies. (63)
In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Tyler Breeze defeated Tyson Kidd in 6:44 by pinfall with a handful of tights after a gouge to the eye. Breeze swaggers off up the ramp, ready for his CWC quarter final match with Xavier Woods on CWC next week (59)
MAIN EVENT TIME
In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat,
The match is an even affair. 4 men that the crowd are behind, all getting an even amount of time to shine in the ring. Cesaro and Rollins showed some early signs of dissension as, obviously, do Owens and Morrison, but with the WWE champion in the match. They know there’s pressure on performing here.
Cesaro is down on his back. He went for the springboard European uppercut and caught a kick flush to the face form KO. Ko goes up high for the bullfrog splash…BUT MISSES! Cesaro gets out of the way. He grabs Owens’ legs. Owens is going for a swing!. He looks over to Rollins and tags him in first. 1….2….3…4….5…6…7.. ! AND BANG. Rollins hits a flying knee to the side of KO’s cranium as he’s being swung around! This one has to be over!. Rollins turns toward the fallen Owens.
ROLLINS GETS BLASTED IN THE GUT BY CESARO. FUCKING NEUTRALISER!!!! TO HIS TAG TEAM PARTNER, AND WWE CHAMPION.
The crowd go fucking nuts. Cesaro just lost it. He’s seething. He looks down at Rollins and screams that he should be number one contender!! Then leaves the ring. KO’s has come to. He tags in Morrison. MOONLIGHT DRIVE TO THE CHAMP!!!
1….2……..3! “JOHN MORRISON HAS PINNED THE WWE CHAMPION!” “OWENS AND MORRISON HAVE DONE IT” shouts Michael Cole! “I don’t think Seth Rollins has ever looked so much like a target, replies JBL!”
Kevin Owens and John Morrison defeated Seth Rollins and Cesaro in 13:14 when John Morrison defeated Seth Rollins by pinfall, after hitting him with Moonlight Drive! (78)
The show ends with a replay of Cesaro’s Neutralizer on his partner, Owens’ tag to Morrison, and then a moonlight drive to pin the champ. (76)
Overall Grade… 79.
Which I think is good. But that increased popularity in 3 regions, and lost it in 18.
